Thanks for visiting the webpage for the Bluesfactory Band, Northern California’s classic rock, blues and fusion band. Bluesfactory is a local favorite that plays in bars, clubs, festivals and wineries from San Francisco to the Napa Valley and beyond with diverse musical styles and musicians from across the country. The band has been a musical work in progress for over ten years, gradually blending blues, rock and jazz into a sound that defines the ‘factory. Featuring a fun and exciting guitar sound, the band is also laying down the groove with the classic rock organ, the B3. Not to mention three great vocalists and a potent rhythm section! Our objective has been to assemble a group of musicians that share a passion for great music, improvisation and musical exploration, and to develop a lasting bond among ourselves and our fans. The intent of the band is on the art form itself; to flawlessly perform great music from great times from the past and the present. We have received many outstanding reviews, awards and praise and offer one of the most entertaining show’s you’ll see in the Bay Area and beyond!
Steeped in the blues, the ’factory plays everything from your favorite rock classics, Motown, jazz standards and originals. This six piece band consists of some of the finest musicians you’ll see in the Bay area most of which toured nationally or internationally, and hey you just never know what will be played at a Bluesfactory show. The Band features the classic sounds of the Allman’s, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Stones, Steely Dan, The Band, Santana and our roots: Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and Muddy Water’s just to name a few-They do it all! Got a favorite? Let them know! Don’t let them name fool you this is just not another blues band, but a band that plays anything and everything that the audience desires. So much great history is in this band from the blues clubs of Chicago to the jazz clubs of New York, the roadhouses and stadiums of Texas to other parts of the world!
